Inspired by the Western Canadian prairie homestead, The Parks of Harvest Hills honours the time-tested housing types of Craftsman, Farmhouse, Prairie, and their contemporary interpretations. These varied yet cohesive architectural styles not only reflect the City and the regions historic development, but create picturesque streetscapes and the charming character of a simpler time.

All homes in The Parks of Harvest Hills shall be influenced by, and draw inspiration from these architectural styles and exhibit the key, integral characteristics that have made these styles significant and desirable over many generations.

Contemporary Craftsman

Inspiration: Columns, low-pitched gable roofs, front porches, decorative false beams or brackets.

Contemporary Farmhouse

Inspiration: Clean simple lines, monotone colour scheme, contrasting window frames, prefinished metal roofing, vertical board and batten.

Contemporary Prairie

Inspiration: Horizontal materials, low-pitched hipped roofs, window detailing, woodgrain products, front entries with sidelights and transom.
